Last day in Budapest today, after a wet morning the rain stopped and I managed to tick of the last couple of things I wanted to get done. Firstly Memento Park - The answer to the question what do you do with all the communist statues when you are no longer communist? Dump them in a paddock outside of town, realise it is becoming a tourist attraction and build a park around it. It is pretty cool, but a lot of the locals have never been to it. Then back into town to go to City Park, just hadn't had a chance to get up there to check it out. It was pretty cold today and I think it is the sign of things to come. They are talking snow this week, it is definitely getting cold enough. I have a nice reasonable flight at 10am in the morning, so there is not big rush with only a 10 minute tram ride to the train station. Then off to Pecs for a couple of days, which is on the way to Croatia
